Jeff Beck -Truth(1968) - 04 You Shook Me
One of several influential Bands Jeff Beck orchestrated during the early years of the 'British Invasion'. This particular version of "You Shook Me", (vocals by Rod Stewart post The Faces) was recorded and released before the Led Zeppelin version, but never received the credit or quality attention / Blues notoriety it so well deserved. The entire album just busts out of the seams of the jacket with Jeff Beck's innovative and uniquely creative process quite magically produced as notable for it's guitar sound and tonal quality due mostly to his usage of the wah-wah pedal and purposeful style post 'Yardbirds'. Undoubtedly, one of the most under-rated albums released pre 1970's. Meant to be played at the highest volume possible for maximum appreciation for 'Masters Of The Blues' series 2017.
